This book consists of 27 short (read in under ten minutes) chapters that are exactly what are needed by new users of this application. Obviously it does not cover all that Word 97 can achieve but it will certainly get you up and running. If you find others consulting you on using Word 97 (yes, I know you are a programmer but that means in the eyes of many that you are a master of all aspects of computing) this book may save you from wasting time responding or getting a reputation for being aloof because you don't.
