And finally a quick mention of two books with very limited shelf lives. By the time you read this both books will have less than a year left till they become purely historical documents. If you do not know most of what the first of these books is about then I suggest that you correct this now. But the book itself is largely aimed at management, and for them, it is already too late. Either they have at least started to take steps to mitigate problems or they better hope that they are very lucky. Perhaps it would be better for their temporary peace of mind if they did not read what Capers Jones wrote.

There is still some life left in the second book, assuming that your business has started to take action this book might help you keep that action on track. Fortunately readers of this need not worry. However if your employers have done nothing or are beginning to run round like headless chickens, now might be the time to find a new job. Leave the management a copy of Perry's book as a leaving present.
