Some odd books cross my desk from time to time. If you aspire to becoming computer games player you might want to give this book a look see. The author writes about all aspects of computer gaming from aspects of building your own equipment to chasing down some of the rarer games.

Interestingly I could find nothing on the growth of trading game characters and objects for real money. At least one company gives away its game but allows you to buy and sell equipment with a fixed exchange rate of ten game monetary units to the US dollar.

If you are already a hard core gamer this book will tell you nothing new but if you are a games novice who wants to learn more from an experienced fanatic go ahead and read this book.
