Early sections explore the basics of the Active Directory Service Interface (ADSI) for managing directories (including Active Directory and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol [LDAP] directories) and the Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) for managing an Exchange Server (and other e-mail systems).
