12-5This is a large book which starts off with the history of XML then
moves swiftly onto the building blocks of XML. It describes entities,
attributes, notations, DTDs, Style Sheets describing each one in detail
with examples in the book so you can see what it is talking about.
It explains parsing of XML using Java and C++. Using XHTML, ASP, DOM, SAX and a lot of other buzz words for the processing and usage of XML data in other applications. There is also a CD with IE5 and other trial/shareware software that displays or uses XML. It also includes the samples from each chapter, ready to run.
If you want to get into XML and see where and why it can be used then this book is well worth the money.
