Except that the back-cover of this book talks about object-orientation I would have been quite happy with this title and would not have expected anything about analysis and design. As far as I can ascertain this book is trying to relate the concepts patterns of knowledge and understanding to software development. I think I can say that any relationship to what the rest of us understand by patterns of design is tenuous at best.

Please note that the following is purely a personal opinion and I would be happy to pass the review copy on to someone else to offer a second opinion. I think this book is a bundle of pretentious nonsense whose only purpose is to pull the wool over a number of managers eyes. I cannot believe that reading this book will further anyone's understanding. On the other hand, maybe I am just stupid.
