Note: when you create a new publication type, the articles module will automatically use the templates user-display-[publicationtype].xt and user-summary-[publicationtype].xt. If those templates do not exist when you try to preview or display a new article, you'll get this warning :-) Please place your own templates in themes/yourtheme/modules/articles . The templates will get the extension .xt there.

Body:

…culled from a recent thread on accu-general

[Jon Jagger]

What is the collective noun for programmers? A pride?

[Francis Moore]

Shouldn't it be a 'class'? Or is this only for C++ programmers?

[Kevlin Henney]

A class of OO programmers might be more general. However, I'm not sure I want to even think about the consequences of inheritance. For C++ programmers, that could also be a vector (or deque, or one of the other containers). 'Cos you know when you get them together, there will be at least one irritator (sic).

[Paul Collings]

How about a 'Patch of...'

[I. R. Bruntlett]

A service pack of programmers?

[Ewan Milne]

... A hack of programmers?

[Kevlin Henney]

Or, more specifically, a service pack of Microsoft programmers and a hack of open source programmers?

[Keith Derrick]

An ASSEMBLY of programmers

[Jim Barry]

A pipeline of programmers?

We must stop this thead or we will surely go insane. Stark raving mad. Wibble.

[Steve Heller]

How about a "crash" of programmers, or maybe an "argument" of programmers?

[Klitos Kyriacou]

A 'dump' of programmers?

[Dave Lorde]

A pattern of programmers? A library of programmers? Or maybe a feature of programmers...

[Steve Heller]

My wife has made some suggestions. I like these the best.

A #include of programmers?

A COMPILATION OF PROGRAMMERS!!!!!

Now what about one for managers? I'll start with: A plague of managers (I think this was from Lois)
