Note: when you create a new publication type, the articles module will automatically use the templates user-display-[publicationtype].xt and user-summary-[publicationtype].xt. If those templates do not exist when you try to preview or display a new article, you'll get this warning :-) Please place your own templates in themes/yourtheme/modules/articles . The templates will get the extension .xt there.

Dear Francis,
Every C Vu this dabbler tries again to compile helloworld on Riscos GNU C++, fails, adds 24 (1 for each year of humiliating failure) obscene paras to a Cf+f+ hate list, and reverts to playing with some civilized (aka toy) language. The current one is Python. Beazley's tutorial-intro works like a dream until p.9, Classes, where you have
def pop(self,object): return self.stack.pop()
Torrents of cursing and random alterations led to removing the unmatched dummy 'object'. Told David Beazley who kindly replied and confirmed the error. Also (the point of this email) he wrote:- errata available at: http://islab.cs.uchicago.edu/python
To the dabbler, this is a most appealing book, tutorial & reference in one (like the fine Griswold Icon book). Beazley has saved time by putting it out as is, and interested people are contributing to the errata, making this appealing language even more accessible.
